CAMARGO, Janaina Franciele  y  MELLO NETO, Gustavo Adolfo Ramos. Post-Freudian psychoanalytical speech about hysteria and some relationships with the literature. Aletheia [online]. 2006, n.24, pp. 81-93. ISSN 1413-0394.

In this work we investigated the relations that psychoanalytical authors make between hysteria and literature. We elaborated a study of these authors’ articles, and the objective was to expose the themes approached by them when they put together and interpret at the same time hysteria, psychoanalysis and literature. Historically, both hysteria and literature are in the roots of psychoanalysis, what justifies having chosen it for the study. Our considerations led us to realize that either in reference to characters or in reference to the analysis of literature works themselves, in both it appears the same theoretical and interpretative movements that are made to hysteria alone in the analytical discourse post-Freud. In our point of view, the strongest movement is about or the distancing each time greater of the explanatory model of hysteria based on the idea of not overcoming the phallic-Oedipal elements a denial for that model by the authors. But, evidently, this is not the only movement, and the phallic-Oedipal model is preserved.
