This work propose a study of the affective alterations based on different conceptions and concepts to analyze the current symptoms manifestations, describing its psycodinamics and developing a study having as support all the historic and current concepts of the Depression. This work has a bibliographical type and its methodology is based on analysis of contents. We argue that the contemporary symptomatic manifestations of the depression are more an expression of a wounded narcissism than an expression of a depressive structure.
