Abstract

NASCIMENTO, Maria Lívia do  and  SCHEINVAR, Estela. About how the tutelary council practices have become jurisdictional. Aletheia [online]. 2007, n.25, pp. 152-162. ISSN 1413-0394.

In this article we aim at discussing the practices that are present in the tutelary councils, to point out its jurisdictionalization. The debate that we unroll about the tutelary council practices shows that its functioning is far away from the social movement and marked by everyday practices crossed by characteristic discourses and procedures of the Judiciary Power. The question we pose is: how does an organism that is proposed to be not jurisdictional arrive to this attitude? In other words, how the characteristic model of action of the Judiciary Power begins to be adopted in a space that has not such power, but assumes this model, since its practice is based on the law authority. The article points out the articulation with the social movement as a form of dislocating the jurisdictionalization practices and also as a form of potentiation the demanding and participating movements.

Keywords : Tutelary council; Production of subjetivity; Infancy and youth; Jurisdictionalization.
