Resumo

This is a theoretical article in which it was explored some queries related to the ethics of psychologists, as well as their responsibilities towards public health. It was contextualized the world we live in, its philosophy and its predominant ways of thinking. It was developed a discussion on moral, ethics and conscience, calling attention to the fact that these concepts are related to a specific cosmovision - the liberal-individualistic cosmovision. It was demonstrated that the Social Health Psychology didn’t constructed radical changes in its stream, because many social health psychologists kept focusing their practices mainly on changing individual behaviors. In the end, It was suggested a critical model of Social Health Psychology.
