Abstract

This research had as objective to understand the phenomenon of the depressive complaint of the adolescent clientele of the SPA/NAMI, the Clinical School of the University of Fortaleza, and the relation between the depressive complaint and the cultural world of the adolescents who search treatment in this institution. Using a phenomenologycal methodology we analyze twenty handbooks of taken care of adolescents or in attendance with depression complaint. The results show that the partner-economic condition, the familiar relation, the experience of the religion, the affective relationship, the perception of itself, the experience with the drugs, the search of finishing the suffering, and the difficulty of social interaction are constituent aspects of the lived experience of the depression of these adolescents.
