Abstract

This research aims to discuss with the theoretical study of the Analytical Psychology of C. G. Jung, the concepts of doctors and psychologists on the health-disease who work at public hospital. From a qualitative research in field-descriptive, this study suggests listen to the experience of six health professionals on its performance in general hospital in Rio de Janeiro, the influences and impacts of health care based on the biomedical model and if there is an opening for a health care based on the biopsychosocial model. Therefore, from this study, it is intended to support the integration of the biopsychosocial model in health, understanding of the human being in its entirety, physical, mental and social.
