Abstract

The present work has as objective to assess the psychotherapeutic treatment offered from Psychology Clinic-School from a university in the north-west of Rio Grande do Sul trying to identify the improvement and focusing, mainly, the variables that are involved on the psychic change process, that make possible this improvement. To carry out this work were realized semi-structured interviews with 5 (five) patients that had been on service at the Clinic-School, at least 6 (six) months and half. The data were analyzed through the method of Content Analysis, how said Bardin (1979); the main categories that appear from the analysis of the interviews that mention to the benefits allowed by the psychotherapy and to the factors that contribute to the obtainment of the improvement. It were observed that the patients interviewees notice, in a satisfactory way, the psychotherapeutic treatment of which you/they participated.
