Abstract

The search was realized close to the professional category evangelical pastor, aiming to identify how their work is organized and his experience. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted with five pastors from different denominations of Curitiba/PR, treated according to the qualitative method of content analysis of Bardin and analyzed from the assumptions of the psychodynamics of work. As a result, there are summaries categories that include aspects of work organization of pastors, requirements, the experience of pleasure and pain and suffering of the mediation strategies at work. The research contributed to the understanding of pastoral work and serves as a subsidy for the intervention of psychology, particularly in the religious context.
