Among the categories of analysis lifted, one of them, “ECA’s proposal and the daily life in the shelters” inquiring the changes produced by the Statute in the logic of assistance to the childhood, asking them through the daily practices of the shelters. The produced analysis shows differences between the law and these practices, qualifying the shelter as a space that protects the rights of children and young people, but also violates these same rights while breaking the law in other ways.
