Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the quality of life among students of two courses of e-learning postgraduate distance, employees of a public sector bank. This is an exploratory and cross-sectional study, with quantitative and qualitative method. The 245 participants answered a semi structured instrument, by which it was observed that students, despite the daily devotion preached by the course, saw it as a possibility of appropriation of knowledge and opportunity for professional development. Some reported that the pace of the course, coupled with daily work, was an overload factor, which interfered with decreased quality of life as well as them performance and harnessing of the studies. It is noteworthy the necessity of the courses of e-learning postgraduate distance in being adjusted to the students working necessities, considering the double journey as a even more present reality in Brazilian context.
