The Maternar group is an experiment in community curricular activity (CCA) which aims to develop activities in maternal and child health and has had as its main field of activity of Motherhood Climério Oliveira, maternity hospital of the university. Each semester students, a monitor, residents, technicians and teachers have organized groups of pregnant women and photographic studio. The intention of this text to present the experience especially considering the involvement of pregnant women and students. It is considered that the activity is improving and fills a space for listening, information and preparation for all involved.
