Abstract

The psychiatrich reform aims to break the hegemony of the drug therapies by the introduction of other ways of treatment not only seeking to control the behavior of the subject. According to this, the present work is about an Extension Project that propose workshops where was producing artwork aimed to provide moments of acceptance and understanding of conflictrelated violence, through the expression of subjectivity by different means, in a joint work between academics and service users. Besides promoting the practice learning opportunity for academics. As a result, realized by means of discourse analysis, the participants could problematize and share different kinds of violence experienced and practiced, besides helping each other in managing consequences left by the occurred aggression (physical, psychological and moral). In addition, the students were able to experience the conflicts and problems related to everyday life of the mentally ill.
