Abstract

The aim of this study is to present the personality profile of professionals in health care. The sample was composed of 83 professionals of medical services. The instrument used was the Palographic test. The characteristics evaluated were: Self esteem, interpersonal relationships, productivity, impulsivity and organization. The study was approved by the ethics committee and the participants signed an informed consent term. The results indicate that these professionals express normal self-esteem and interpersonal relations as well as good adaptation to the environment, respect for the limits in dealing with others. The productivity in work were on average and the sample also presented adequate adaptation to tasks involving routines and regular organization. These results contribute to the understanding of the aspects of the personality of professionals in health care.
