Abstract

It presents the results of a Psychosocial Intervention short, with a group of pregnant users of the public health system in the city of Cacoal-RO Using a Psychosocial Intervention, participatory methodology, dynamic themes: pregnancy, self-esteem, body care, sexuality. Realized a production discourse-subjective understanding and expressing feelings and experiences around pregnancy; noticed a greater self-confidence and willingness to face reality, with direct repercussions on your self-esteem. The chosen methodology can encourage group members to the condition of subjects with knowledge about their living conditions, where the facilitator plays the role of encourager, systematizing, reflective support and information, favoring that the meeting achieves a pedagogical and therapeutic. Defends the viability and effectiveness of psychosocial intervention in small groups in institutional spaces, such as mode of prevention, education and health promotion.
