It’s possible to identify an increase in efforts made to obtain improvements in life quality and autonomy of drug addicted. The psychosocial rehabilitation comes up as a set of strategies that can be used to assist in the management of the damage caused by different disorders. This narrative review of literature had the objective of investigate how the psychosocial rehabilitation inserts itself in the treatment of crack cocaine users in Brazil. Two thematic axes were addressed: psychosocial rehabilitation in Brazil and the role of psychosocial rehabilitation in the treatment of crack cocaine users. The integration between the psychosocial attention network as Hospitals, therapeutic communities and specialized care centers for alcohol and drug users was identified as essential for the psychosocial rehabilitation practices. Critics and possibilities for these services are addressed.
