Abstract

TABACZINSKI, Carine  and  FRIGHETTO, Juliana. Emotional education in mourning processes in daycare. Aletheia [online]. 2017, vol.50, n.1-2, pp. 154-160. ISSN 1413-0394.

The aim of this paper is to present an experience report about the work of a school psychologist in training, highlighting the development of a psycheducational project about mourning. This project makes it possible to reflect on the importance of children having a welcoming environment so that they feel understood and more secure in an insecurity moment. Through weekly meetings with groups of 15 children from 4 to 6 years of age, it was possible to reflect on what mourning is, as well as its various facets and feelings. It was observed that in a period of one year of internship there were possibilities for breaking the taboo of talking about death, which suggests that the evaluations and orientations carried out contributed to qualify the relations between the students and the school community about their feelings.
