BAVARESCO, Tanise; FERREIRA, Vinícius Renato Thomé  and  SIMOR, Tainá Katiúcia Simor e. Quality analysis reports in forensic psychological assessment. Aletheia [online]. 2018, vol.51, n.1-2, pp. 34-43. ISSN 1413-0394.

Psychology has an important contribution to other areas, especially in the forensic assessment. This study, based on documentation analysis, aimed to investigate thirty psychological reports in order to identify how was conducted psychological assessment, and if the report offers written quality. It was identified that most reports presented quality and relevance and followed formal aspects of CFP resolution 7/2003; there was a higher frequency of generic requests than specific questions for psychological evaluation; most of assessments were done by psychologists at public work; the number of sessions ranged from one to six and almost half of the reports did not report this data; most of the assessments were issued based on interviews, occurred a reduced use of psychological instruments, as well was identified the use of non-favorable psychological instruments assessed by SATEPSI; and all court decisions considered the elements mentioned in the psychological assessment.

Keywords : psychological assessment; psychological documents; forensic psychology.
