Abstract

GARCEZ, Lívia; ANTUNES, Christianne Bastos Leduc  and  ZARIFE, Pricila de Sousa. Well-being at work: Systematic review of Brazilian literature. Aletheia [online]. 2018, vol.51, n.1-2, pp. 143-155. ISSN 1413-0394.

The objective of this article was to present a systematic review of the Brazilian scientific production on well-being at work, published between 2009 and 2016. The searches were carried out at the Capes periodicals, EBSCO, PubMed and SciELO, with the descriptor "bem-estar no trabalho". We analyzed 18 journal articles. The results indicated that most of the empirical research has used quantitative methods and sought to investigate the relation of the construct with variables that could influence it positively or negatively. Another important finding was the lack of consensus about the definition of the construct, indicating the existence of several conceptualizations and a certain lack of clarity, culminating in the confusion of well-being at work with other organizational constructs. The main results and challenges were discussed, and suggestions were proposed to indicate a research agenda on well-being at work.

Keywords : well-being at work; positive psychology; organizational behavior.
