CARLOS, Diene Monique et al. Adolescents experiences who are victims of domestic violence and sheltered: Vulnerability and disaffiliation. Aletheia [online]. 2019, vol.52, n.1, pp. 129-141. ISSN 1413-0394.

This study aimed to know and analyze the experiences of adolescents who are victims of domestic violence and sheltered, from the perspective of these adolescents. Qualitative research, strategic social type, anchored in the concepts of vulnerability and disaffiliation of Robert Castel. Data were collected through focus groups and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed by content analysis, thematic modality. The nucleus was discarded "Family I had no support from anyone"; and "Here is not really my house," had brought characteristics of adolescents’ experiences as striking, repetitive and concomitant violence, as well as loss of family references. The concepts of vulnerability and disaffiliation were relevant guiding principles for understanding the meanings of these experiences for these adolescents, who remain without any anchorages possible in some situations. Interdisciplinary and intersectoral work for families is necessary, with a preventive focus, as well as the guarantee of a singular care for adolescents.
