The study aims to describe the results of a Group Social Skills Intervention (GSSI) for undergraduate students with social skills deficient repertoire and social anxiety symptoms and investigates its depressive and anxiety symptoms. The sample of 22 students answered the Social Anxiety Questionnaire for Adults (SAQ) and the Beck Depression (BDI) and Anxiety (BAI) Scales. CASO data analysis reveals differences in the total score and in the 5 factors after the GSSI compared to the initial evaluation, especially in factor 1- public speaking and interacting with authority figures, as well as a decrease in the scores of depressive symptoms and anxiety. The results suggest that GSSI can benefit participants, by improving group interaction and increasing assertiveness in difficult situations.

Keywords : interpersonal relationships; social skills; higher education.
