Objective: To synthesize the literature on the subject of unintentional hypothermia, which allows the incorporation of evidence into clinical practice. Specific objectives: To classify the levels of evidence in the findings of the studies on unintentional hypothermia and to relate the interventions for normotermia described in the studies according to the ASPAN. Method: This is a review of the integrative literature, whose search for the articles was carried out in the databases Scielo, CAPES Portal, EBSCO host, periodicals published between the years 2013 to 2017. Results: Sixteen scientific articles were analyzed, where the interventions used to prevent unplanned hypothermia were identified, the levels of evidence of the studies were identified based on the methodological framework adopted from the scale of I to VI and the classification and levels according to the ASPAN guidelines. Conclusion: The study in question shows that hypothermia prevention methods should be adopted according to Guidleine, norms, and recommendations.
