ABSTRACT Mothers exercise an important role in their children hospitalization process. Positive psychology interventions may contribute to the strengthening of mothers’ positive resources, which in turn helps in children’s health recovery. This study aims presents a positive intervention pilot project enforcement and evaluation report, directing to demonstrate evidence of intervention clinical utility. The intervention pursued to decrease anxiety, depression and stress symptons, increase subjective well being and positive coping strategies to the hospital context in parents. Results demonstrated that intervention may have helped mothers to use positive strategies during hospitalization and to alternate them according the need. Moreover, mothers could glimpse positive elements presents and feel supported.
