ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the perception of teachers of early childhood education about sexuality in childhood. A descriptive, exploratory, qualitative research was delineated. The Focus Group (FG) was the method used for data collection. Among the instruments used in the gathering were the participant observation, the sociodemographic questionnaire and semi-structured interview script, all elaborated by the authors. For the analysis of the results, we used Bardin's Content Analysis (CA). The results pointed to the presence of sexuality in the daily education of children, deficiency in formation and the non-contemplation of the theme in the continuing education offered by the town.

Keywords : child sexuality; child education; psychoanalysis.
