The purpose of this essay is to study the notion of Bindung in the Freudian thought, aiming to extract from this figure elements for further discussion on the dissolution of the social ties in contemporaneity. Taking as reference the Project for a Scientific Psychology, the idea is to point to the creative trend of this notion in the process of singularization.
