Abstract

RIGUINI, Renata Damiano. Psychoanalyses’ approach to a squizophrenia case. Interações [online]. 2005, vol.10, n.20, pp.45-56. ISSN 1413-2907.

This article derives from practice in a mental heath service which has replaced a psychiatric hospital. Here, we discuss a case of hebephrenic schizophrenia regarded as chronic. This patient was many times treated as an animal in the institution. This paper proposes a possible clinical treatment for this kind of patients. There are patients who do not have a set time to go to the consulting room, who do not have an address for their delirium, in sum, who have almost nothing. Articulating psychoanalyses and this case-study, this paper connects theory and practice and, by doing so, raises issues and contributions to the study of psychoanalysis and schizophrenia.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Psychoses; Schizophrenia; Treatment; Institution.
