The heterogeneity of forms of activism and resistance have inscribed in the public sphere a multiplicity of political scenes that make us to problematize the polyphony and polymorphism of contemporary political subjects. This paper aims to problematize the concept of politics, inspired by the analysis of Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) Greenpeace's actions, producing some reflections about the emergence of the political subject in the current context. From Jacques Rancière's thesis that the basis of politics is an aesthetic, we discuss Greenpeace's actions, linking the political debate to the sphere of sensible in a contemporary collective life. From our analysis, Greenpeace has created new forms of insertion and transformation of public space into political, reinventing more fluid, creative and irreverent forms of militancy that can destabilize the hegemonic discursive grammar of the hegemonic order.

Keywords : politics; aesthetics; social movements.
