RODRIGUES, Fernanda Fernandes et al. Mental Health impacts and possible interventions against COVID-19: a systematic review of literature. Estud. psicol. (Natal) [online]. 2021, vol.26, n.4, pp. 348-357. ISSN 1413-294X.  http://dx.doi.org/10.22491/1678-4669.20210033.

Scientific production on impacts on mental health due to COVID-19 and possible interventions were analyzed. The systematic review of literature was made in Scielo, Web of Science, Science Direct, Lilacs, and Pubmed, using the descriptors "Mental Health" AND ("COVID-19" OR "Coronavirus Infections") AND ("Psychology" OR "Interventions"), identifying 20 articles. Results evidenced impacts especially on healthcare teams, with predominance of symptoms of anxiety, depression, fear and insomnia. It is highlighted that these professionals have low workload, gratification, and psychological preparation to act in scenarios of emergence in public health. Mental health measures related to production of selfcare materials, creation of online community and psychological support groups, as well as psychotherapy by means of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Studies with initial results were evidenced in a way that is required to develop randomized research to detect if COVID-19 is a variable that intervenes in mental health.

Palabras clave : coronavirus infections; mental health; crisis intervention.
