Abstract

The theoretical-practical field of the Social Skills Training has being more and more explored in the educational context and processes. In the specific case of the school, the studies lead to conceptual, methodological and empirical questions associated to the analysis and improvement of the teaching-learning process as well as to the discussion of the school products or aims. Some of these questions are examined in this paper by presenting studies related to three guidelines: a) the relations between the teacher's interpersonal professional skills and the learning social conditions he/she establishes in classroom; b) the students' social skills while aims of an education committed with the citizenship formation and the preparation for the social life; c) the function of the social skills and of the social competence (a correlated or a determinam factor) in the academic learning. It is pointed out some results of previous researches and new questions under each one of those
