Abstract

DUNKER, Christian Ingo Lenz. The Identification in the formation and support of symptoms in the family. Temas psicol. [online]. 2001, vol.9, n.2, pp. 145-154. ISSN 1413-389X.

The formation of symptoms was describedby Freud, as aprocess which involves the following contingencies: (1) object absence (Versagung), (2) regression, (3) reinvestiment of the organization drive particular to the fixation point, (4) libido return to ego, (5) identification to the object in the fantasy, (6) formation of commitments between the motions of wish, contained in the fantasy, and the defense. In a previous study we showed how this identification to the object in the fantasy allows to distinguish both the symptom in the child, as a singular subjective and dependent formation of his fantasy, and the identification to the parents' symptom, where the child takes part in the fantasy of the other in the family. The problem here is to identify the psychic circumstances in which the identification to the symptom in the family fails, thus allowing and impelling a new subjective response. The goal of the present work is to investigate the hypothesis that such process has its demands in the sexuation and filiation levels
