The aim of this paper is to present the development of psychology at Minas Gerais, considering the contributions of Helena Antipoff. The research for this article was done at the Federal University of Minas Gerais' Archives on the History of Brazilian Psychology. The biographical method was used to read the documents produced by Helena Antipoff. Focusing her work in educational psychology, Helena Antipoff also played an important role in the development of scientific and experimental psychology in Minas
