Abstract

CARVALHO, Maria do Rosário. Social representations: the contributions to asymmetric mediation. Temas psicol. [online]. 2002, vol.10, n.2, pp. 155-165. ISSN 1413-389X.

The present work approaches the research on social representations of writing, among the adult rural workers from the semiarid region Brazilian northeast, elaborating on the implications of social representations for an asymmetric mediation of the learning by the teachers. To reach this goal, first we approach the evolution of the conceptions on the subject and the object of knowledge relations. It is appropriate to consider the role of privileged source which is tacitly attributed to the teachers at the present moment of Brazilian education, when socio-constructivist presuppositions justify the official documentation and penetrate in current discourse

Keywords : social representations; mediation; learning process.
