Throughout the theme Issues about virtualization, we will focus on two aspects about the way of conceiving virtualization and its consequences on the production of subjectivity: virtual as infinite and virtual as possible. This article works with some of the issues brought by the new information technologies, which deal with the production of reality, specially, those related to Artificial Intelligence. With this goal, we will use the movie "MATRIX" (1999), an American production from the brothers Larry and Andy Wachowski. The movie builds up a life and death war, between humans and the matrix. Some of the issues prioritized by the authors, such as hybridization, were previously exposed in "BLADE RUNNER" and "2001: A SPACE ODISSEY", while "MATRIX" brings new issues about the theme.
