Psychology as a field has its origin in the frontier between social practices and derived models from the natural sciences. The comprehension of the existence of so many psychological projects, needs to take this into account. The social practices feedback to the individuals as a scientific truth. The aim of this research wass to study empirically the subjective production generated by the power of truth presented in these psychological practices. Questionnaires were answered by high school students. Four questionnaires were presented, in order to verify the power of the psychological speech, its imagery, preferences for psychological statements and for a specific psychological orientation. Results showed a clear preference for psychological statements and for those announced by psychologists, with a slightly preference for psychoanalytical statements.
