Abstract

Silvia Lane was an outstanding psychologist in the Brazilian field of Psychology for questioning the theory and the practice of Social Psychology in Brazil and Latin America. This article aims at identifying dates, themes, theoretical approaches and bibliographical references in the dissertations and thesis she advised in the Post Graduate Studies Program for the Social Psychology Department at the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). The article first gives a brief biography of Lane and her publications. Next, it presents the information found in 70 dissertations she advised. Finally, the article introduces some considerations that might guide and encourage new research in the field.
