Abstract

From the theme of governmentality proposed by Foucault and deepened by Nikolas Rose, this study aims to outline which are the possible management technologies brought by some practices sponsored by the humanistic psychology, especially in the organizational context and within the work with small communities. In this territory it can be found a clear example of what the aforementioned authors classified as a form of liberal government (regardless of the liberal economic doctrine). This, for here come together clearly the modes of government through freedom and authenticity, as well as the encouragement to entrepreneurial ways of life, aiming to self-management of one 's own success.
