In this paper, violence will be discussed as a limit to psychological practices, when it's being part of other institutions and particularly, when psychological services are offered to young people that are against law and under governmental custodian. Violence has been the most evident mark of the relationship in these institutions. How to get educational, psychological and civil directed works in these contexts? How to work civil rights when people are under some kind of arrest? Which is the ethical limit to psychological work in this situation? All those subjects will be discussed based on the actions of a project called FIQUE VIVO! as they were developed in FEBEM-SP, between 1999 and 2004.The possibilities of psychological practices with reconsidered procedures and concepts, in these circumstances, will be demonstrated.
