Abstract

SEIBT, Cezar Luís. Heideggerian thought in the existencial psychology of Boss and Binswanger. Temas psicol. [online]. 2012, vol.20, n.1, pp. 203-212. ISSN 1413-389X.

This work consists of a theoretical investigation that aims to point to the possible contributions of the philosophy developed by Heidegger for the existential psychology, especially that of Boss and Binswanger. Martin Heidegger developed a thought which has important consequences for the comprehension of the human being. His description of man as Dasein implicates in a change of paradigm that claims to overcome the objectified relation that installed itself in the western civilization, in other words, in Metaphysics. This article intends to show briefly some elements from that author's anthropological comprehension and, moreover, to present some elements from the approximation made by Boss and Binswanger in the existential psychology, always pointing to the challenges that present themselves on the task of understanding the human being.

Keywords : Existential analytic; Anthropology; Objectification; Psychological sciences; Heidegger.
