This paper discusses the organization of sexual partners of young men with homosexual practices, in order to understand what makes them socially more susceptible to the AIDS epidemic. The data discussed here are drawn from ethnographic research in Candomblé keto fluminenses which was operationalized through participant observation, interviews with people in different positions in the priestly hierarchy and biographic narrative interviews with young men with homosexual practices. In the process of analyzing the results about the construction of homosexuality in the context of Candomblé were placed in parallel with the results of other studies conducted in other contexts, allowing deepen logical emergence of phenomena studied.The analysis pointed to oppressive processes related to gender, age and romantic love, which offer meanings for sexual partners, while it depreciates the positions taken by effeminate men and young men, making them more vulnerable to HIV and Aids.
