Abstract

In this work we intend to analyze the original violence, of structural character, transmitted in mythical narratives and the reactive violence that, like repetition, dissolves social ties. We start from the assumption that violence is part of human condition and dates from the beginning of its history, but the will of destruction, typical of death instinct, presented in homo violens and materialized into violence, should be minimally contained to allow trade through political actions in the context of power relations. Therefore, we conjugate the nuance of individual violence, even in masses' violent actions, with the relational aspect of power.
