Abstract

LEANDRO, Mardem; COUTO, Daniela Paula do  and  LANNA, Maria dos Anjos Lara e. Psychic reality to the social bond: the mediation function of the concept of fantasy. Cad. psicanal. [online]. 2013, vol.35, n.28, pp. 27-48. ISSN 1413-6295.

This paper investigates how the fantasy exerts a mediatory function between psychic reality and the social bonding. The knowledge of how fantasy works as a mediator between the internal reality of the neurotic and the factual reality of the outside world is of considerable importance, as referred by Freud in The interpretation of dreams. In this work, the radicalness of reality validates itself as a result of a distortion that can approach desire; which, in turn, establishes the concept of fantasy as a basic concept for psychoanalysis, by displaying the dynamics of reality formation through a symbolic-imaginary construction as opposed to the Real.

Keywords : Psychic reality; Real; fantasy; dream; social bond.
