Abstract

TOTOLI, Flávia Costa  and  MARCOS, Cristina Moreira. Psychoanalisis and Drug Addiction: the drug's jouissance and the rupture with phallic jouissance. Cad. psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.36, pp. 125-140. ISSN 1413-6295.

This work focuses in the study of Drug addiction through the lacanian psychoanalisis, where matters more the definition of where the drug places in the individual's life than propertly define Drug addiction. From the affirmation that Drug addiction is possible in every structure, and that each individual has a peculiar relashionship with the drug, we intend to show the use of drug in neurosis and psychosis, explaning the different ways os jouissance and it's relation with the Other and the object. Lacan's statement that the drug is what allows the marriage rupture between the individual and phallus gives us the central axis for this discussion.
