Abstract

PONCE, Larissa Garcia  and  RIBEIRO, Diana Pancini de Sá Antunes. The Maura case: the use of dialogic mediators in the analytical setting. Cad. psicanal. [online]. 2017, vol.39, n.37, pp. 151-167. ISSN 1413-6295.

The text discusses, from a short exposition of the communication theory in the work of D. W. Winnicott and Clare B. Winnicott, and from the presentation of a clinical case, other possibilities of psychoanalytic communication in the setting, brought about by the employment of dialogic mediators. The use of this resource aims to enable the establishment of spontaneous communication between patient and psychotherapist, by a less direct approach of contents than verbal communication. The possibility of using this feature in the setting is due to the respect for the patient's specific needs, as occurred in the presented case.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Winnicott; Setting; Dialogical mediators; Spontaneous communication.
