There are three main aspects to be covered in this article as characteristic of the new modes of temporal regulation of work in contemporary society: the short-term time; the impermanence and flexibility that, imposing a constant renewal, does not allow us to build a long-term narrative; the distinction (even if illusory) between the time of life and the working time. The description of these new temporalities will compose a kind of scenario from where we will highlight demands for a research agenda in the specific field of psychoanalysis.
