Abstract

This article discusses the contributions of the psychoanalytic method of Construction of the Clinical Case to psychiatric hospitalization, based on issues raised during the internship experience at a Psychiatric Unit in Ceará. The method is an institutional orientation proposal in the field of Mental Health and was used as intervention strategy, aiming at a team orientation in the treatment of difficult cases. This tool indicated a differential approach of the cases, allowing a team-made network articulation, besides making it possible to draw up specific clinical interventions for each patient.
