What causes our commotion before death? Why does Clarice Lispector count how many shots killed Mineirinho and part of the population counts the days since Marielle Franco's death? These are questions that guide the psychoanalytical look at the commotion exposed in Clarice's chronicle Mineirinho, when there is an interlacing between psychoanalysis and the literary work. Beyond this approach, there is a search for a relation between the chronicle and the concepts of commotion and precarious life as defined by Judith Butler. There is also a dialogue between what Butler brings and the tragic ethics of psychoanalysis.
