Abstract

VIEIRA, Gustavo; CASTANHO, Pablo  and  CAMPOS, Elisa M. Parahyba. A wider setting in the face of exclusion: Winnicott's contributions to clinical team care. Cad. psicanal. [online]. 2020, vol.42, n.43, pp. 91-115. ISSN 1413-6295.

First, the article addresses some of Winnicott's experiences in situations that combined psychic suffering and social issues and presents his approach: therapeutic consultations in a "wider setting", with the collaboration of other professionals and welfare services. After, the article discusses the case of Hesta, emphasizing Winnicott's work together with professionals from her local context. Then, the article addresses Winnicott's thought about multiprofessional care and the psychodynamics of teamwork. Finally, a case study of Brazilian Primary Care is presented, offering contributions on clinical team care in the face of social and subjective exclusion.
