Abstract

BRUM, Stephanie. Scribbling the lines of a study on pleasure in the work of D. W. Winnicott. Cad. psicanal. [online]. 2021, vol.43, n.44, pp. 243-261. ISSN 1413-6295.

The issue of pleasure is of fundamental importance throughout the development of psychoanalytic theory. As we enter the study of object relations, we ask ourselves whether it would be possible to work on a pleasurable aspect of the experience in which the discharge movement has not necessarily to be present. Based on Winnicott's work, I propose to think of a modality of pleasure that can be experienced precisely in the face of calm states and the field of experience that opens up in the absence of a great increase in tension. This article aims to approach the concept of a pleasure of experience, from which we can rethink some important points of the subjective constitution and psychic dynamics.
