This article discusses the conclusions of a research carried out with Brazilian emigrant women using life histories, oral narratives and blogs as a methodology, with a view to emphasizing the gender’s role in transnational migration. The focus of the reflection is the transnational identities, the production of transcultural responses; it points the discussion about the viability of building a citizenship across territorial borders, with a cultural, flexible character, according to the inter-identity circulation imposed by the globalization process and suitable to the displacements of the XXI century.
