This job presents and analyses, in terms ofthe possibilities of implantation and evaluations, the Italianexperience related to children care, represented by the existing "Centri Del bambini e delle famiglie". 1t is aquestion of a new service with a social-educative nature that has the objetive of providing support instrumentsto developing opportunities, both for children and to their families. The article points out some light to the useof the referred service in a Brazilian context.
