Abstract

In the educational context it is examined the teacher-stress association. The teacher’s stress is related with variables of academic environment, of out of the school and of the teacher. The impact of that association can be see in the teacher’s health, in his achievement and in the quality of the teaching-learning process. With the objective to present one view of how issue is being considered in international literature it is focused the production presented in the bibliographic base PsycArticle, from 1987 until 2002. Only 28 papers considered the relation teacher-stress. They were analyzed in relation to the progress indicators: authorship, kind of work and specific content area. There are few research in the area, they are descriptives and produced by scientists’ groups.
